Community Briefly: Volunteers needed for various causes

Remington College-Shreveport will have the National Night Out event from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the campus, 2106 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. Activities will include safety and equipment demonstrations, football and basketball toss, bounce house, face painting and a blood drive, a news release states. Participants also will have a chance to meet Shreveport police officers, get information on fire safety and get safety-themed coloring books and goodies. Refreshments will be served…
