Prom Night Makeover Results: Cosmetology Departments Provided Over 800 Complimentary Salon Services
Prom Night Makeover program gives teens special treatment for prom
Remington College recently wrapped up its first Prom Night Makeover event at 12 campuses around the country.
Instructors and students in Remington College Cosmetology Programs provided complimentary services salon services for high school students during the height of the prom season.
A total of 845 complimentary Prom Night Makeover services were provided, which included:
- 250 up-dos
- 216 pedicures
- 181 makeup applications
- 164 manicures
- 34 haircuts
“All high school students deserve to have a memorable prom night, and we’re happy to donate our services to make sure they look and feel their best. The event helps our students with their cosmetology skills as well,” said Dr. Mike Lanouette, Vice President and Chief Academic Officer for Remington College.
Prom Night Makeover is part of Remington College Reaches Out, an effort that includes philanthropy, community involvement and events designed to benefit the communities where Remington College has a campus.
The Remington College Cosmetology Program teaches students the art of hair, skin and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training in “The Salon at Remington,” which allows students to work with real clients.
