Good dental and medical care – things we may often take for granted – are sadly rare occurrences for many people in poverty, including those in the village of Barahona, near Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. Thanks to our Shreveport Department Chair Clark Riser and a number of other medical missionaries, a dire situation got a little easier to bear for many Barahonian villagers this past July.
