Memphis Cuts for Cause at Remington College
“One local educational institution is giving back to the community.
Inside the Remington College Student Salon, located on 2741 Nonconnah Boulevard, razors are buzzing, hair is being dyed, and the smell of beauty products fills the reception area.
Today, the focus isn’t solely on the art of cosmetology, more eyes are looking to a medium sized box filled with cans, set next to the appointment desk.
It’s called “Cuts for Cause” where Memphians are donating cans of food to the classroom salon in exchange for a free haircut, manicure, or pedicure. The cans will be donated to the food bank to help feed families in need, and already three full boxes have been taken away….”
