Remington College student salons offer complimentary services to high school students headed to prom
Remington College is again offering complimentary student salon services for high school students headed to prom. The goal of the Prom Night Makeover program is to help students look and feel their best without having to spend a lot for services.
Each Remington College campus with a Cosmetology program will participate, including Baton Rouge, Cleveland, Columbia (South Carolina), Dallas, Houston, Houston Southeast, North Houston, Lafayette, Memphis, Mobile, Nashville, and Tampa.
Staff and students in the Remington College Cosmetology Program will provide the following services:
- Updos, manicures, pedicures, and makeup for girls
- Haircuts for guys
“Prom Night Makeover is great for everyone involved,” said Dr. Mike Lanouette, Remington College Vice President and Chief Academic Officer. “The high school students love looking and feeling their best on prom night, and our Remington College students really enjoy working with the kids. It also gives them hands-on, real-world experience in working with clients.”
During the first two years of the program, Remington College provided complimentary Prom Night Makeover services for more than 1,600 high school students around the country.
Remington College’s Cosmetology program teaches students the art of hair, skin, and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training in Remington College School of Cosmetology, which allows students to work with real clients.
