On April 3 and 4, 2012, graduates from the Remington College – Fort Worth and Dallas campuses were invited to film graduate testimonials to be used in some of the upcoming promotional media, including television commercials.

Several graduates were invited from the following programs: Criminal Justice, Digital Graphic Art, Computer and Network Administration, Medical Assisting with X-ray (Limited Scope) and EKG Tech, Dental Assisting, and Pharmacy Technician.

Among these graduates was Jamie Broadnax, a Dallas Campus Computer and Network Administration program graduate. Jamie wrote the following quote that he said sums up his experience with Remington College, “My experience at Remington College – Dallas Campus was great. The instructors really cared, not just for me to get a passing grade, but really for me to find a career. I will no longer be Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly.” (Pretty clever!) Jamie works as the Local Technology Coordinator for the Fort Worth Campus.

Herb Anderson, a Fort Worth graduate of the Medical Assisting with X-ray (Limited Scope) and EKG Tech program, is now working as a Medical Assistant at John Peter Smith Health Network.  While waiting to film his testimonial, Herb took time to visit some of his former classmates and instructors to speak about his experience in the field.

Another graduate, Benjamin Jenkins, who was a student in the Digital Graphic Art program, spoke with Campus President Gregg Falcon about the outstanding instructors he had while in school.  He explained that Remington changed his perception and made him realize that he can do anything he puts his mind to and that it only takes a little dedication.  Benjamin is now a Graphic Designer at Blue Sky Graphics, designing graphics for vehicles.  When Benjamin was attending Remington College, he had the winning design in the Campus’s “Relay for Life” T-shirt contest.

The shoot proved to be exciting and fun, gave our graduates a chance to be in the spotlight as they related their success stories, and presented a perfect opportunity for them to visit with their former instructors and classmates.
