My Story: Crystal Knotts

September 2011 Medical Laboratory Assistant Graduate, Columbia Campus*

From time to time, Today @ Remington College will spotlight “My Story”: perspectives from program graduates, written in their own words, that offer a glimpse into their lives before, during, and after their experience with Remington College.

Columbia Campus 2011 MLA Graduate Crystal Knotts

“I had just lost my job before I enrolled at Remington College, but the work I was doing was not taking me anywhere. I have two kids to raise and wanted a better life for me and them. So it was time to make a big change.

The people at Remington were nice, and they offered a lot of hands-on training. My experience at Remington was great. I learned a lot about the medical field that I never knew. My training also taught me the proper way to handle and dress for job interviews.

Because of Remington, I now have a job as a phlebotomist, doing what I love to do – helping others – and I’m loving every minute of it. Thanks, Remington!”
