Community invited to take part in events focused on safety, family, and fun
Our Shreveport Campus will hold a National Night Out event featuring safety, educational and fun activities for the community.
The event will be held on Tuesday, October 2, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is free, and the public is invited to participate.
National Night Out started nearly three decades ago to build partnerships between communities and police in fighting crime and promoting safety. The annual event provides families with a variety of fun and interactive activities while also building safety awareness and strengthening anti-crime initiatives.
Activities include:
- Visits with local law enforcement, fire and EMS crews
- Life Air Rescue
- Bake sale
- DJ
- Face painting
- Safety identification for children
- Safety-related coloring books for kids
- Refreshments
