Monies for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® were raised over the past six months through a variety of events, including bake sales, car washes, T-shirt sales, local merchant assistance, and loose-change collections.

Efforts were coordinated by several students from the Remington Student Nurses Association (RSNA), spearheaded by Morgan Wright, president of the organization.

“Each year, Remington College of Nursing continues to advance its mission of promoting the health of the diverse populations within our community. Through the efforts of our Student Nurses’ Association and the College of Nursing, we consistently strive to better the lives of those around us. We are proud of our students and their support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation,” said Anthony W. Pennington, MBA, MSN, RN-BC, and Student Advisor to the RSNA.

Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. For more information, visit http://www.wish.org/.
