Massage Envy Hawaii–Pearl Highlands has continued its stellar support of the local community and of Remington College’s Massage Therapy program by hiring several of our licensed graduates (LMTs).(1,2)

Nathan (Nate) McFarland and Lari Jarvis have owned Massage Envy Hawaii since they opened their spa in November 2012, providing therapeutic, customized massages and healthy skin facials to their customers. Nate and Lari noted, “We have been welcomed with open arms by the residents of Oahu, and we couldn’t be happier to be here!”

Since establishing their relationship with Remington College and our Career Services team in Honolulu, Lari and Nate have regularly attended the Campus’s program advisory committee meetings and job fairs and have taken time out of their busy schedules to be guest speakers. They’ve also facilitated several volunteer opportunities for students and graduates to help raise awareness about the health benefits of massage.

Teaming with Remington College
Since opening, Massage Envy Hawaii–Pearl Highlands has hired a total of 14 graduates from our Massage Therapy program: 13 licensed massage therapists and one esthetician.

According to Lari and Nate, “Our partnership with Remington College has made a tremendous impact on the success of Massage Envy on the island. We have had the opportunity to interview and recruit talented LMTs. Our guests and members continue to comment on the knowledge, quality, and professionalism of our therapists.”(1)

And how are our graduates doing on the job? Nate and Lari had this to say: “Our LMTs from Remington College are doing fantastic! They are highly requested, and their schedules are completely full. They care about their clients, coworkers, and their company. We are extremely pleased with the quality of graduates we have hired from Remington College. We will be opening our second location in early 2014, and we hope to continue to hire graduates from Remington.” (1)
