Four Licensed Massage Therapy (LMT) graduates from our Honolulu Campus were active participants at a recent Health and Wellness Fair sponsored by the Human Resources Division of the Honolulu Police Department (HPD).

This second annual fair was held on August 15, 2013, at the main police station, located at Sister Roberta Derby Park, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Here’s what our graduates had to say about their participation in this year’s health fair:

Jason Groff: “It was a pleasure to serve those who serve and protect.”

Julie Urbschat: “I volunteer because I want people to know that massage isn’t only a luxury to be utilized by tourists. Massage is for everybody.”

Emilio A. Domingo, Jr.: “The reason for volunteering is to give back to the community and promote health and wellness through massage.”

Nicole Tabada: “It was a fun experience to give back to my community and reunite with my classmates.”
