Our Financial Aid (FA) team at the Remington College home office in Heathrow, Florida, really got into the holiday spirit this year, decorating each of their cubicles and coordinating department events to help spread joy and good cheer.

Here are a few photos of the group and some of the sentiments they wanted to share:
F
inancial Aid Advisor Jennifer Rickard: “Every year, we try to do a Secret Santa in our group. This helps us bond by learning about one another’s likes and dislikes and, in turn, helps us to work together even more effectively so we can better serve our students.”

Jennifer added, “This year has felt more like Christmas than ever before in our group, and part of that has to do with the decorations. When we talked about our Secret Santa plans this year, we decided it would be fun to decorate. One thing led to another, and it became a friendly challenge of sorts to see which row, and which aisle, had the most spirit. Most of us spend more hours here than at home, so it’s nice to come in and see the spirit of joy, giving, and cooperation overflowing all around us.”

Financial Aid Advisor Jiselle Cabral said, “I decorated my desk area in celebration of Jesus, our greatest gift. Decorating for the Christmas season also instills a great sense of happiness and hope.”

Here are some of the ways the FA group helps Remington College students every day: (1)
Financial Aid Processor Diana Crump noted, “We ensure that financial aid is awarded and disbursed to students correctly and efficiently according to federal regulations, and we share our pool of knowledge with the campuses. Financial Aid Processor Arabhi Jenkins added, “We’re happy to help our students’ dreams become a reality by putting their needs first and helping them to pursue their educational goals.”

Exit Processor Supervisor Lisa DelValle explained her role: “I provide services for VA students and handle stipends. We also make sure that students’ files are complete from all departments (Academics, Externship, Financial Aid, and Accounting) for exiting Remington College.”

About preparing for the holidays, Financial Aid Processor Tabitha Ramos summed it up nicely by saying, “While we may be in the home office, that doesn’t mean we don’t have holiday spirit, and what better way to show that spirit than by decorating our cubicles as festively as we can!”

The Financial Aid Department, and all of us at Remington College’s home office, send all of you our warmest wishes for a joyous and peaceful holiday season and a happy, healthy new year.
