Earlier this year, the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) at our Fort Worth Campus got together to help feed those in need and took part in making sandwiches for the hungry. The NTHS group was able to put together more than 60 sandwiches in just 15 minutes in order to help feed local shelter residents. The sandwiches were delivered to the Presbyterian Night Shelter, in Fort Worth.

Fort Worth Campus President Don McLaughlin said, “This activity exemplifies the dedication and professionalism it takes to be an active member of the NTHS, and we are very proud of their ongoing efforts to help those in need in the local community.”

About the Presbyterian Night Shelter
Founded in 1984, the Presbyterian Night Shelter is celebrating 30 years of caring and providing for Tarrant County’s homeless population. They remain focused on their mission to end homelessness while helping to guide the journey home for thousands of people each year.

The Presbyterian Night Shelter is the largest provider of homeless services in the area and the only area emergency shelter without length-of-stay restrictions. Along with basics like food, shelter, and clothing, they also provide counseling and resources for obtaining proper identification, permanent housing, employment, financial assistance, and more.
