Our latest graduate profile features recent Computer and Network Administration associate’s degree graduate Nicholas Currie, from our Mobile Campus. Below, Nicholas shares how his hard work and resolve to achieve something better has made a difference in his life:

Nicholas Currie’s story:
“I came from a small town named Millry, Alabama. Moving to the city was a big change for me. I left my family and friends behind. During my time at Remington, I was working during the day and coming to class at night. It was tough having to be up at 6 in the morning and getting out of class after 10 pm. However, since graduating Remington, I have gotten a better job with better hours, and I could not be any happier in my current position.” (1)

How Nicholas is excelling on the job:
“So far, I have been doing well. I was trained for a week and began my job the next. I have since taken on tasks outside of my ‘zone’ and have completed them well. My managers are now assigning me bigger projects and tasks, and I have not let them down.” (1)

What has changed for Nicholas because of his success:
“I now have a wife, a beautiful house, and I’m able to provide for my family. I owe it to the training and knowledge I received at Remington.” (1)

What Nicholas has learned from his Remington College experience:
“I’ve learned how to manage time, how to physically do tasks in the field instead of just reading about them, and how to excel in the workplace. The hands-on experience at Remington has made my transition into the work force very easy.” (1)

Congratulations, Nicholas, on all your successes! Remington College is proud of you and what you’ve been able to accomplish through your focus, dedication, and hard work. Way to go!
