Cleveland East Participates in the “Fight for Air” Walk to Benefit American Lung Association
Many of us take the air we breathe, and our ability to breathe it, for granted. But many struggle for every breath due to disease or disability. That was on the minds of our Cleveland East “Remington Racers” as they took part in the “Fight for Air” walk in May 2011, to benefit the American Lung Association’s mission to improve lung health and prevent lung disease. The final numbers from Prom Night Makeovers are in and they prove that Remington College Cosmetology students and staff give back to their communities! More than 750 complimentary salon services were provided to high school students. Services included hundreds of up-dos, pedicures, makeup applications, manicures, and more.
